Greenville High School coach, Jeremy Williams, was recently selected for the ABC show "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition".  The Williams moved into their new house the weekend of February 26th and the show will be aired on Sunday, May 16, 2010, 8 PM EST. 

A little history... Three years ago FCA Fayette County began to sow into Meriwether County as a "Judea" project...by providing leadership, events, resources, etc.. Greenville HS has attended our Fayette County football dinner twice. They have team devotions and a team chaplain. FCA Fayette County provided scholarships for their entire team to our 2008 team football camp. In 2009, we sponsored the first ever Meriwether County FCA Football Dinner at the start of this season (44 made commitments to follow Jesus Christ...Coach Williams shared his testimony). We provided the entire three teams (over 150) with Bibles. They invited their opponents to pray together after every game this season...They were 11-1-0...Ranked 7th in Class-A in Georgia this past season.

Here is the influence story...When I first met Coach Williams, I was at his office when his doctor called to share with him he had Lou Gehrig's disease.  He now must be transported by golf cart around the practice field. He began to share his testimony in churches, schools, other teams, community groups, at FCA Team Camp....I don't know how much of this will come out in the ABC's broadcast in May, but to God be the Glory.....Thank you for your vision to see the name of Jesus being proclaimed ... Acts 1:8!!!
