I want to personally express my sincere appreciation for your leadership and support of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes Fayette County. This past year was probably the most fruitful and blessed 12 months I have personally experienced in 23 years of serving in full-time ministry. September began my sixth school year with FCA Fayette County, which also means another opportunity to see God work through the 2008-9 FCA 100 Coaches movement.

What a joy it has been to partner with others like you who are eternally impacting the lives of young men and women in our community.  The influence of a coach in an athlete’s life is incredible.  FCA remains committed to “keep the main thing, the main thing” by reaching out to athletes and coaches and all whom they influence with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in 2008-9.

I believe that our local middle and high schools are battlefields where the war against the seduction of evil is being waged daily.  Young people are looking for love and acceptance in any place they can turn.  FCA is a light that reaches into the darkness and is making an eternal difference. Working full-time with FCA allows me consistent access with students, athletes, coaches, administrators, teachers, pastors, churches, and community leaders.  I have the opportunity to develop adult leaders, attend and speak at weekly campus FCA Huddle groups, and promote FCA summer camp participation.  Most importantly, I look forward to sharing my life and relevant FCA resources with you.
