"Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is his good, pleasing and perfect will." -- Romans 12:2
Inside Out - Change Your Game!
INSIDE OUT is about transformation, and it can only start by looking in the heart. As much as you desire to change behavior, it will never stick unless you change the inside. There needs to be a renovation. Before you begin to think about changing the world…or your teammates, first you need to change. Even change as a competitor—on and off the field! You need to surrender and commit. As you become real, God works in you, and then He works through you. Being an INSIDE OUT Christian is about sacrifice, commitment and surrender.
The 2009 FCA Camp season will be filled with outstanding competition and spiritual impact. Every camper will be encouraged to be INSIDE OUT spiritually and athletically as they spend time pursuing the goals set before them. Each day at camp, we will unpack these powerful principles:
DAY 1: Change your sacrifice. (Rom. 12:1-2) DAY 2: Change your aim. (Rom. 12:3-8) DAY 3: Change your do. (Rom. 12:9-20) DAY 4: Change your win. (Rom. 12:21) |

"Thanks so much for your partnership with us this week at the WHS Volleyball Team Camp. It has always been my dream to be able to develop the player AND the person. Having the devotional time and being able to actually give them a great Bible for themselves is a blessing and a dream come true. I appreciate the encouragement that it was to their hearts. They heard a lot of truth this week! Thank you FCA, for partnering with our team, for loving players and coaches, and for being committed to the Kingdom! " Ben Thacker /Whitewater Wildcats Volleyball
"FCA Camp was a wonderful experience for our entire team. We were able to take players of all ages and grade levels and the speakers and team huddle times allowed us a great opportunity to share with each other and to bond together as a team. We left the camp with a purpose and a mission for the upcoming season - to play for each other and to enjoy the gifts that God has blessed us with. We spoke openly about playing the game the right way and committed to make sure that we always give everything we can; we "sell out" every day for each other and for God and we will trust his plan for us as individuals and as a team. As a coach - I feel more comfortable with where our season is headed after having left that camp. I feel like for the first time since I have been at Whitewater we have a clearly defined goal and it is a good goal. I feel like I can be more of the coach and person that I want to be in regards to the team and I believe that the girls left the camp feeling the same way.
The speakers and services made us all realize how unimportant winning and losing is and helped us to understand that playing the game and selling out for a team is the important aspect of athletics. The same way that in our lives we need to sell out for God and realize ahead of time that there will be tough times or "losses" but that does not mean we have failed because when we concentrate on playing the game or "living for God" then we always will win. There wil also be good times or "wins" as we play the game but our focus should remain the same at all times - play the game the right way as hard as you can every time and have faith that you are doing the right thing each day. When we do that - then we will win the ultimate prize in the end because we will concentrate on everything except for ourselves...

"I just wanted to say "Thank You" for the FCA Softball Camp. The coaches and the players had a great time. We had some good softball competition and the speakers were excellent. I believe there were a lot of young ladies that opened up their hearts and made some very important decisions. The FCA has a tremendous impact on the youth in our area.
Thanks again! Mark Williamson Starr's Mill High School - Varsity Softball Coach

"God is using you in a mighty way to impact the lives of 1000's of students and countless coaches and their families. I'm 32 years removed from my high school football days but still reap the results of some outstanding Christian coaches whose lives were impacted by FCA. The life lessons from coaches go a long way; far beyond the winning or losing of games. Just know that you and Joey are making a great impact! May our Lord continue to show you favor in these days."
Chuck Chambers Woolsey Baptist Church - Senior Pastor

"Thanks for coming out to the wrestling camp. It is always refreshing to hear the word of a God spoken with practical applications for me and my athletes. I pray that through our combined efforts these athletes will see their need for a relationship with Jesus Christ, and that they will understand the relevance He has to their life. "
Scott Smith Sandy Creek HS - Wrestling Coach
