Steve Knudsen Area Director North Fulton

Steve Knudsen has been the North Fulton Area Director since September of 2008. Prior to that Steve was with several ministries including, Focus on the Family, the Family Research Council, the Alliance Defense Fund and Leading the Way with Dr. Michael Youssef. Steve is married to Shelley and they will celebrate their 24th Anniversary this year. They have four children Kenny, Kelsea, Kyler and Kevin.
North Fulton FCA North Fulton FCA covers the 400 corridor from Sandy Springs to Milton. It comprises nine High Schools, ten Middle Schools and over a dozen Private Schools. The High Schools are Alpharetta, Centennial, Chattahoochee, John’s Creek, Milton, North Springs, Northview, Riverwood and Roswell. The Middle Schools are Autrey Mill, Crabapple, Elkins Point, Haynes Bridge, Holcomb Bridge, Hopewell, Northwestern, River Trail, Taylor Road and Webb Bridge. The Private Schools that have FCA involvement are Blessed Trinity Catholic, Fellowship Christian Academy, Holy Innocents Episcopal and Perimeter Christian.
In the larger public schools there are 20 sports, 40-60 coaches and over 700 athletes. Most schools have a campus presence with 30 to 100 or more participants. Coach outreach has been limited, but inroads have been made into several schools this year. Camp participation is limited, but growing. Several schools will be represented at leadership camp and two schools will be at Team Football camp this summer. Community involvement has also been limited, but plans are underway to stimulate parental involvement in the ministry to coaches and teams across the area.
