John Smoltz made his debut with the Atlanta Braves in 1987, bringing a 98 mph fastball to the plate. Smoltz has made the playoffs every year from 1991 until 2005 (excluding the strike shortened 1994 season), helping the Braves win 14 straight division championships.   Smoltz has over 150 wins and 150 saves, and only the 2nd player in ML history to do that.  He resides in Duluth, GA, and is the father of (4).
