At FCA Soccer Ministries our goal is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. At the heart of our ministry is the coach; our ministry philosophy is TO and THROUGH coaches. We minister TO them by serving, equipping, and empowering them to grow into a real, personal and relevant relationship with Jesus Christ. And THROUGH them by using their platforms to exert greater impact in and through their athletes, reaching out far beyond their fields into their communities. As Rev. Billy Graham stated "A coach influences more lives in a year, than the average person does in a lifetime," that is the WHY of our efforts to reach coaches for Jesus Christ.
One of our strategies to serve coaches is through Coaches Clinics. Through these we serve coaches by providing quality training and resources for them to grow in their field of coaching. But more than tactics and technique, we use these clinics to introduce the concept of "holistic coaching," coaching the athlete as a whole, physically, mentally, spiritually. Coaches are challenged through the Word of God to be great stewards of their platform of coaching to reach a greater goal; more than a win on the field, but on life.
