A QUALIFYING EVENT for the FCA NATIONAL SCRAMBLE CHAMPIONSHIP TPC Sawgrass      Ponte Vedra Beach, FL

Friends of FCA, FCA of Fayette County (GA) hosted our Inaugural FCA Golf Invitational on Tuesday, October 15th, 2009 at the prestigious East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, GA.  East Lake Golf Club is the home course of legendary golfer Bobby Jones and is the oldest golf course in the city of Atlanta. The golf course measures 7,267 yards from the championship tees and plays to par 72. The 2009 FCA Golf Invitational was honored to host one of six Georgia qualifying tournaments for the 2009 FCA National Scramble Championship held in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL at the TPC Sawgrass (Home of The Players PGA golf championship).  The 2009 FCA Golf Invitational was the only metro Atlanta tournament that will send the winning team-Gross Division (all expenses paid) to the 2009 FCA National Scramble. The 2009 FCA Golf Invitational was a great way for us to advance the purpose of the Fayette County FCA by providing increased exposure both locally and regionally while generating significant synergy and support for our local ministry team.
